  4. @tanjoohiang1409  Yes. And all of the technology that China has gotten for the past 50 years was either given to them from the United States or stolen from the United States. So if China has their own homegrown technology now . . . they owe the United States for everything China has. So they should share some of that new technology back to the United States.

  5. Our semiconductor industry is not "declining." That is fake news. Both Intel and TSMC are currently building new factories in the United States.

  7. The new semiconductor plants are being built in Phoenix and Ohio. Move there.

  8. @michaelloong964  Actually, you do not know your facts. The United States has import tariffs on Chinese chips and also subsidizes these plants to make domestic chips as cheap as Chinese chips. Furthermore, China cannot produce the type of chips that these factories produce. If we wanted to buy them, they are only available from Taiwan.

  9. @goldriverbank6647  Semiconductors were invented by Texas Instruments company of Dallas, Texas, USA in 1959. Everything that China does is just a copy of what Americans are already doing.
