  9. @BaumerPaulGefreiter  You seem to be an intelligent, thinking person, so I am going to explain the politics for you: 1. Zelenski wants to fight Russia all the way back to the border, and recover all of Ukraine's stolen land. If that is even possible, it could take 20 years, and cost a million Russian lives and a million Ukrainian lives. There is also a risk of starting WW III. 2. NATO is on board with that idea. 3. There are already about 180,000 people dead from this war. President Trump is aghast at so many people dying, and he does not want any more people to die. That is a big concern for our president. He just wants the war to stop. Your calling Trump "moral relativism" is completely reprehensible, considering that he is concerned about people dying (and apparently, no one else is). 4. The United States has already given Ukraine about $180 billion dollars. It is not possible to keep doing that for 20 years. Also, NATO could not do it. 5. The American reputation abroad is completely misunderstood by so many people (including you) that it could never be straightened out in everyone's mind. 6. Americans, in general, do not care what foreigners think of us. We do not work to secure our reputation. We work to secure what is right. 7. What happened in the Oval Office was unfortunate. But it is not any big deal that anybody should be getting all worked up about.

  13. Well, he can say whatever he wants, but America was born a Christian country and remains a Christian country. If you want to call that "fascism" then the United States has been "fascist" for over 400 years. So maybe it is time for you to leave. And, by the way . . . Ukraine is much more Christian than America is, and you have probably greatly offended your host with this comment.
