You should use Somalia as your example. There is a 100% ban on guns in Somalia and a world-wide sanction on importing guns to Somalia and you can buy an assault rifle out of the trunk of a car on any street corner.

Mexico has a significantly higher homicide rate: Mexico -- 28 per 100,000 people The United States -- 7 per 100,000 people

Gun safety training as a required high school class would solve it. So I agree with you . . . force safety measures onto the students.

Saying other people do not have courage is emotional propaganda -- it is NOT standing up for the people.

They are not trying "to agree to ban assault rifles." That would be against our God-given constitutional rights.

All of you are missing the point. The devil 👹 is behind it.

@Notorious Malcontent Okay stupid. Look at it this way: In 1776, 99% of the population was Christian and there were no school shootings at all. In 2023, only 67% of the population is Christian and you know how many school shootings.

Well the United States is 14% African. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️

@布衣-l1l If you cannot speak respectfully about others, stay out of the conversation.

@Lokipc OMG is short for Oh my God. Saying that is a violation of the First Commandment. Which says: Thou shalt not take the name of thy Lord in vain.

@michaelkennedy6415 You cannot really concern yourself about what other people think. Putin thinks the United States has a longe-range game plan to destroy Russia. Everyone around the world laughing at us for shooting down a "weather balloon" and 3 other harmless balloons. Chinese saying the United States is "weak" because we ship vynilcloride on railroad cars and then burn it releasing dioxins into the air. Half of the people in the world think the United States "invaded" Vietnam. And a very large percentage of people in the world think that the United States bombed Japan AFTER they had surrendered, just out of spite. These are ideas that can lead to war. Some guy shouting should be the least of your concerns.

Well . . . They definitely do have the "courage" to stand up to this kind of verbal badgering from (you know who).

The idea to arm the teachers is voluntary only.

A law requiring everyone in the country to attend church every Sunday would have prevented it. But we cannot make such a law because it would violate a person's right to make their own religious choices. It would have to be done voluntarily.

Most of these shooters are taking medication that causes " violent ideation" as a know side-effect. A law outlawing those medications would solve about half of it. And a law getting mental health care for the rest of them would solve the other half.
1
A law requiring gun safety training for every freshman high school student would stop it.
1
A law outlawing rap music and violent video games would stop it.

No it doesn't. It shows running out of patience and self-control. Ignorance is when you cannot answer a question.
