The half of the US who voted for him are not "stupid." But one could definitely say that the half who voted against him are stupid, or at least uninformed, and do not understand the macro issues America is facing.

@denisestarr2314 Sorry, but your numbers are wrong: A low-priced Tesla has a monthly payment of $700 monthly. To pay a monthly payment of $700, you need at least $3500 monthly. $3500 monthly is $20 an hour. 30% of American workers earn $20 an hour or more, and can buy a Tesla. And married people combine their incomes. So with combined income and housing arrangements, more than 30% of American 🇺🇸 workers can buy a Tesla. On top of that, as time passes, more and more Americans 🇺🇸 will be able to pick up used Teslas at bargain prices. And that still does not include the 33 million small business owners and the 22 million millionaires.

@kathyeastman4101 By "what is going on" you mean bloated government, wasteful spending, and a $36 trillion IRRESPONSIBLE debt?

@mwatts-riley2688 If President Trump is not your president, you are not an American.

@FlashRayLaser You are overlooking that many people buy EVs just because they like electric motors, or they are quiet, or they have good acceleration, or they have strong pulling torque or the costs work out for their needs. It is not necessary to be an environmentalist to buy an EV. One can own a gas-guzzling car, and still buy a Cybertruck because it looks cool.

@Esteban-mg2cy The batteries are the main drawback. Once battery technology improves, they will go into the used market. I have seen many used Teslas for sale. But you will still need to replace the batteries soon.

@alainbrideau9088 A Tesla car payment is $700 to $1000 a month. Most people paying that can afford $420 for the insurance.
