  8. @RugbyPass81  The Bible is not just a "religious text" -- it is also a historical text. But if you do not believe the religious parts of it, you are going to Hell. 🌅 Your supposed fact about archeologists finding the name of Palestine on artifacts is wrong. That did not happen. But the name Philistine for the area of Gaza does occur in the Bible back to a date somewhere around 2000 bc. As far as your UN resolution #37/43 . . . we fundamentally believe in national freedom and self-determination of all peoples. That is why the citizens living in Israel have democratic elections to elect their leaders and the citizens living in the Palestinian parts have democratic elections to elect their leaders. However, the Arabs do not believe in self-determination. They are fascists (single-party rule). The facts are that Israel completely pulled out of Gaza in 2005. And the Palestinian Authority set up elections for Palestine. The elections took place in 2006 and the Hamas party was elected as the government of Gaza. But after taking charge of Gaza, the Hamas government canceled all future elections for Gaza and made themselves the fascist ruler of Gaza. So, what can you do? And when the elected government of one country starts firing rockets and attacking the civilians in a neighboring country for no reason, what can you do about that? Now let me give you a historical education: In 1914, there were 500,000 Muslims living in Palestine. Today, there are 5 million Muslims living in Palestine. Where did the 4.5 million Muslims come from? They immigrated from Arab countries. They are not indigenous Palestians -- they are Arab colonists. Cheers mate. 🦅 😎👍🇺🇲 ✝️

  16. @premixedbones4681  I was using "shortcut speech." But I still contend that there are at least some Philistines in Gaza. In order for your theory to be true 100% of them would have had to be captured and taken away. Which is not likely. The Bible only says that the Jews were captured. It does not say the Philistines were captured. It also says that God will always leave remnant of Jews in the land. It also says that the Jews of the Babylonian captivity returned to Israel after 70 years. So they were all back. I think you left out the close of the Roman Empire from 300 ad until the Muslim conquests of the seventh century. During that time, nearly the whole Roman Empire converted to Christianity and all of Palestine was filled with Christians (except for the Jewish holdouts). So you can really trace a line from Philistia down to Gaza. Additionally, Babylon did not destroy the whole area. They captured the Jews and left. Gaza is the farthest part away from Iraq and I doubt if they even bothered to go that far down. The idea of a conquest is to take the capital city. While it is true that there are known immigrations from Turkey, Syria, Greece and Europe, it is most likely that the original inhabitants would be the most numerous. I contend that over thousands of years the newcomers intermingled with the original inhabitants and the current Palestinians have Phillistine blood. Spiritually speaking, I think this current war is a continuation of the war that God called against the Phillistines around 1800 bc.
