@oldscoolcooldiecast1879 My grandfather, Thomas Loutner, spoke German and was shot down from behind enemy lines. Because he was a pilot, he was held at a German airbase where he came to know the famous Baron Von Ricthoven (the Red Baron) personally. Because he learned to telegraph, when he got out, he got a job telegraphing for Western Union until he retired sometime in the '70s. My father was a United States Marine and my brother was a United States Marine. 😎👍 🇺🇸 ✝️
