Everyone in middles class or higher has private medical insurance. The government pays the the medical insurance for all poor people, disabled people, and retired people. Also, if you cannot pay the ambulance or emergency, you are not required to pay. The hospital will pay that for you. Also, when your bills are too high for you to pay in the United States, you can pursue the court and the court will cancel your bills. Your comment has no substance.

Being around for 4000 years is not the same as being prosperous for 4000 years.

A fascist political system can never be said to be a good political system.

Why not? Western economic theory was invented when Chinese people were pulling rickshaw. We are math experts. All of the math in China comes from the West. All of the business and banks in China have been copied from the West. Banks were invented in Europe and the modern corporations and stock market were invented in New York.

When you people finally figure out that the communist party fakes all of its numbers you will be closer to understanding this.

Dude, you as dumb as a rock.

@quanfung5958 The facts are we have not been lied to and the guy is just making that statement up. The other facts are that the American media never says anything about any foreign country unless it is a really big event. The only thing Americans know about China: 1. They have a communist government that blocks them from knowing about the outside world. They are not allowed to criticize their government. 2. 60% of what we buy says "made in China" and you can count on it breaking within 30 days.

@craigslistseller9354 In 1949 when the communist party revolution took over China, they shut China off from the outside world and started a dumbing down brainwashing operation on all of the Chinese people. That communist brainwashing operation has been very successful in shaping how Chinese people think. Chinese people do not think independently -- they think how the communist party has taught them to think. The American government has had no such operation and people are free to learn all different information and formulate it as they choose. No one in the West was "lied to" and no one in the West was deliberately "dumbed down."

Proving that communist chairman Mao is a fool and an idiot.
1
Isn't communist chairman Mao the guy who caused 40 million Chinese people to starve to death due to his failed centralized food distribution programs? Is there any other person in the history of the world who has accidentally killed 40 million people? WHY are we quoting Mao???

@george6696 Equally, all medical work done in China is included in its GDP. Insurance is not GDP . . . GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product . . . only production is counted.
1
@george6696 Insurance is not GDP. GDP is Gross Domestic Product. Only something produced is included. One either has high medical bills or high insurance bills -- not both. Medical work is work. Insurance is not work. They cannot be double counted. The reasonable way to count medical expenses is to go by the average annual insurance payment. . . which is $8435 per person. $8435 per person works out to $3 trillion dollars. So you would deduct $3 trillion dollars from the U.S. GDP. But then you have to deduct the Chinese medical costs from their GDP and I do not have access to that information.
1
@george6696 We moved our manufacturing overseas because the labor is cheaper. That decision was unrelated to the GDP. "In 2022, health care spending in the United States accounted for 17.3% of the country's gross domestic product (GDP), or $4.5 trillion." That includes insurance spending and that still leaves our GDP higher than China without even deducting any medical from China's GDP.
1
@george6696 "In 2022, the total expenditure on health care in China reached over 8.5 trillion yuan." ($1.2 trillion USD)
1
@george6696 If China has 1.4 billion people and they are only spending $1.2 trillion on Healthcare, that leaves to wonder if everyone in China is receiving adequate care.
1
@george6696 Wrong.
1
@george6696 Wrong. The United States has 22 million millionaires and one of the lowest homeless rates in the world.
1
@george6696 Because no one can figure out how to solve this problem. The government throws millions of dollars at this problem, but it is never solved. The government people work in offices -- they do not understand the streets. It is not a large number. We have a population of 360 million and only 200,00 homeless people. The people living on the street are addicted to drugs or alcohol, or have mental health problems or have anti-social personality. They are not normal people -- they are sick. They do not want to work a full-time job and due to these health problems, they are not able to work a full-time job. They prefer to live on the street and to not work. Many of them could qualify for a monthly government check, but they do not put in an application. Any disabled person in America can receive a monthly government check. But they have to place an application. Also, they cannot live with family members because they are not mentally stable. They cause problems in the family. These people do not go to look for work. What would you do to solve that?

@george6696 You are also saying something that you do not understand. So what if the rent is too high? You want to see some high rent prices? Go check out the rent prices in Hong Kong. The fact is this: If a person is not working, they cannot pay even $10 for rent. For people not working, ANY AMOUNT is too high and they could not pay it. You are flat wrong. Property taxes are not high at all. Property taxes are LOW. The 1% does not control anything. The 1% are busy vacationing in the Riviera. As far as mortgage being too high, that is only true in a few cities. The United States has 19,000 cities. Most of them have very reasonable prices. I see no reason to talk about the, 1%. Those people have nothing to do with anything. And you are wrong about the poor getting poorer. That is not happening in America. 360 million Americans CAN afford to pay their rent and 65% of Americans own their home. So what is your problem? Your problem is that you think you are an expert about things you do not know about. You are not an expert on America. I am an expert on America. 🇺🇸
