  1. In Arkansas, USA, I agree with you. The best thing for energy reduction is to increase the insulation on your house. My house and solar system is on 12 volt. But it is converted to 120 volt to run appliances such as my microwave and refrigerator. My appliances have a government energy efficiency rating and this is required in the United states.
