That is the same thing Ukraine said. 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️

@ryanflanagan8793 Do you always go around stating the obvious? 🤷♂️ It means you can never be complacent walking around blindly and rule out the possibility of war.
40
@socrates5647 That is probably wrong. You cannot tell anything about anything by asking 10 people on the street.

Taiwan is the ninth largest trading partner of the United States at $106 billion dollars a year. No one is going to "seal off" Taiwan. 😎🇺🇸 ✝️
6
The U.S. Navy does not want any war and your comment is irresponsible.
4
@chicagosveryown7776 Yes they did say that and the war in Ukraine is currently stalemated with Russia holding a lot of Ukraine territory. That is NOT winning. -- YOU are the egg. 🍳

@reality5953 Taiwan was not "bullying the mainland. Let me clarify: The original government of China fled to Taiwan from the communists and they used the island as a base to fight the communists and win their country back (which so far they failed). Fighting to get your country back from an enemy takeover is not defined as "bullying."

Shotgun wedding.
2
@williamchoi6902 That might work. 🤔
2
@jrizzyjoe My advice is do not go by feelings -- get the facts. 😎👍🇺🇸 ✝️
2
@michaelhuang7842 It is not the business of the Chinese people of the mainland to allow or disallow anything regarding Taiwan. That is the business of Taiwan. Do I tell people in Seattle what to do?
2
@michaelhuang7842 You should learn more about communism. Taiwan will agree to unite with China. But Taiwan will never unite under a communist government. You should learn why they would object to uniting with communists. Communism is really the big stumbling block here.
2
@eliza16406 🙏
2
@michaelhuang7842 You know the odd thing is: Democracy is not a western idea. It was formulated by the Greeks in the fifth century bc. Greece is in Asia Minor. But communism is a western idea. It originated in Germany. Both Marx and Engels are Germans.

@t-rex4211 Explain why the people who are always wrong also do all of the laughing.
1
@WanWanOfficialX Okay. I made an edit. Thank you.
1
China is not in a hurry. The goal is to own Taiwan by their communist takeover centennial celebration in 2049. They will not move until they have built their military up enough that they feel confident to hold off the United States.
1
That is what Putin says about Ukraine.
1
The United States supports democracy and all legitimate elections. Let the voice of the people be heard. 😎👍🇺🇸 ✝️
1
It is a good thing our elected leaders are smart enough to know what to do. You obviously don't. You got your vote on your tax dollars in the last election.
1
@chicagosveryown7776 You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. But carry on . . .
1
@sopurusurplus7951 Your comment is unclear. What was what about Ukraine? By the way . . About 90% of Ukraine would be considered "West." How does someone "get involved" with themselves?
1
@cherryyi1923 Let us be clear: The Republic of China is the true original and legitimate government of all China and there are no "separatists." All Taiwanese claim to be China. However: Taiwan has its own DEMOCRATIC form of government. And if ANYONE tries to take that form of government away from Taiwan, the United States will LEVEL THE AGGRESSOR COUNTRY TO THE GROUND. Are we clear now? 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
1
@raloed.363 What you are saying is you would rather be someone's slave than fight them for your freedom. Some people feel that way. I will pray that you become a slave! 😔🙏
1
@nashdapistolshrimp8641 Very likely, Taiwan may "fold" in no time. But China will be fighting the entire western world who will not fold.
1
@soshiucheong I know. Sorry you don't 🤷♂️
1
@平面三郎 Can you say it in English?
1
@omarionbayley9721 Ukraine is a U.S. ally. In fact, the United States assisted them in setting up a democratic government in 2014. There was a coup and a government takeover in Ukraine that year and a VERY corrupt politician was removed. And that 2014 coup was about the Ukraine president rejecting a trade deal with Europe and signing one with Russia. In fact, any country with a democratic form of government can be considered a U.S. ally. It is us against the totalitarians. 🤷♂️
1
@wordscapes5690 I would shoot the drum. But then, I am American. 🤷♀️
1
@viktorroderer9809 Never be sorry for having information -- information is good. There are 24 million people in Taiwan. Which one did you talk to and what did he say?
1
@omarionbayley9721 It is not "influence." It is whether they make the news or not.
1
@土豆撒 Korea was 65 years ago dummy.
1
@hangten1904 The CCP has released an official statement saying the if Taiwan does not come along peacefully, they will be taken by force. That is not mainland China speaking -- it is the communists.
1
@jakwllwlwlw No they are not. Study your Chinese history. The Hans all started in one province and gradually took over the surrounding provinces and united China. The Hans are the Borg: "You will be assimilated."
1
@reality5953 It is not China wanting to take Taiwan back -- it is the COMMUNISTS wanting to complete their communist revolution by taking the part of China that they failed to conquer in 1949. Communists are bullies.
1
@michaelhuang7842 All of the Chinese living in the mainland have been brainwashed by the communists. They are not thinking clearly. When you say China, are you saying China? or are you saying Chinese Communist Party? You should think about that and what is the difference between China and the Communist Party. China is not threatening Taiwan. The communists are threatening Taiwan.
1
@唐欣韵-y2o The United States won the war in Afghanistan in 3 months. I presume you did not know that.
1
@michaelhuang7842 Yes. I need to add that the Republic of China is the rightful government of all China. The mainland Chinese should reunite with Taiwan and be under the government of the Republic of China.
1
@starsiegeRoks Maybe you are just dense?
1
@唐欣韵-y2o Don't know why you would presume that. It was all over the news during the withdrawal.
1
jake broesky The communists are not going to beat Taiwan. They would have to defeat the entire West to beat Taiwan. What they are going to do is start World War III over Taiwan.
1
@DSan-kl2yc There are no separatists from China. The Republic of China in Taiwan is the government of China. They understand that there is one China and they are Chinese. They are only "separate" from the Communist Party. The communists (as usual) are twisting words, truth, and reality to make their wishes and desires sound right.
1
@michaelhuang7842 Communism is not a political idea -- it is an economic system.
1
@jpan64 You might want the study your Chinese history. The Republic of China in Taiwan IS your government. lol The CCP is not in a position to "hand out" anything -- they have NEVER had control of Taiwan. There is an ongoing civil war in China that has been going on for 100 years now. The communist rebels in the mainland are fighting the original nationalist government of China for control of all China. And you will not have a say in any of it -- it will ultimately be decided by who has the biggest gun. You want to have a say about Taiwan? Do the people living in Taiwan have a say about anything in your life? By the way . . . Taiwan was a Japanese territory from 1898 until 1945. So I guess the Japanese citizens have a say in the future of Taiwan?
1
@michaelhuang7842 You believe that because you have been brainwashed by the communists. Life is easy when your government is going the right way and you agree with the government policies. Someday when your government does something that you seriously object to and there is no way you can complain to them about it or stop it, you will understand. All of Europe used to have "centralized" governments. But they had to be overthrown by the citizens when they got out of control. We had to learn that lesson the hard way so that you do not have to. No one is asking you to be "western."
1
@michaelhuang7842 If you want to know the future of China, you will find it written in the book of Revelation. You can read it there.
1
@alrizo1115 No. The Americans invented semiconductors and the ones being made in Taiwan are being made on machines that are produced by the West. We can make semiconductors anywhere. What we cannot replace is the $106 billion dollars of international trade with Taiwan (not including Taiwan's trade with other countries). But that is not the point either. The point is: We are not going to let a communist country take over a democratic country -- that is out. 😎👎🇺🇸 ✝️ Also, Taiwan ceased to be a "Chinese territory" in 1898 when China ceded it to Japan. So whether it is a "Chinese territory" is open for debate.
1
@michaelhuang7842 Taiwan is not going to do that because the "central government" is communist. They have been fighting the communists for 100 years, starting in 1927. They have lost one-and-a-half MILLION soldiers fighting communism. They are not going to suddenly accept communism or any part of it. And I will add: The "central government" over a period of years would take away their "separate" political system and replace it with one of their own and we all know they will do that.
1
@michaelhuang7842 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own house." -- Jesus --
1
@michaelhuang7842 We "set Taiwan against China"?? You are talking like Putin. WE DID NOT CAUSE THIS! Taiwan is not against China -- they are against communists. I keep telling you it is all about democracy (freedom) versus communism (enslavement). The Taiwanese are not going to allow themselves to be enslaved and brainwashed by the communists. We did not cause them to value their freedom. Anyone with a brain will figure out for themselves that freedom is better than enslavement.
