@paracelumalchemistis7331 You are really not that good of a military strategist. I have already explained why Russia will not escalate. I thought that would be sufficient.
The size of Russia is huge. But if you will look at a map and population, their 140 million people are scattered all over that huge expanse in very small towns and tiny villagers. Those tiny rural villages are of no importance to Russia's national identity.
Now tell me how many cities and regions of Russia can you name off the top of your head. Now if those cities get nuked, what is left of russia?
On the other hand, how many states and cities of America can you name off the top of your head?
Russia is large geographically, but the United States is the second largest country geographically and has more than twice the population of Russia. Which means that in a nuclear exchange of say 1200 missiles from both sides, Russia would be finished. But more than half of the American population would survive.
Also, why do you think Russia keeps building more and more nukes?
They are doing that because they are afraid of the United States and want a good solid deterrent.
The United States has 5000 military bases scattered around the world. In order to attack the United States safely, they would have to take out all 5000 military bases. So there goes 5000 of their nukes right up front, leaving only 1000 to attack the U.S. ships and mainland targets.
Also the United States has the largest conventional military in the world. It is roughly equivalent to the size of the next 5 countries put together.
In addition to that NATO has a bunch of their own nukes in Europe that can come into play.
Will the United States use nukes? No. Not unless they are attacked with one.
So how will the United States and NATO respond if Russia uses any nuke anywhere?
The Pentagon called Moscow on the phone last week and told them that if Russia uses even one nuke anywhere, we will come to Russia and destroy every single last vestige of the Russian military.
I think they got the message, don't you? 🤷♂️ 🤷♀️
