Arun Sathyan You are not the proof. You are what we call "hearsay evidence." Do you think I could go to Amnesty International and say, "Hey Amnesty International, some guy living in Donbass claims his mother's human rights are being violated. Do something."
What do you think Amnesty International is going to say to me?
1. They are going to say you are only one person with your own viewpoint, which may be right or wrong. Your opinion could be biased or you may be misinterpreting what you saw.
2. They are going to say that there are 2 sides to every story and they need to hear your attacker's side of the story to get a complete picture of what actually happened.
3. They are going to want to know the historical context of the attack to see what events led up to your attack to see WHO STARTED IT in the first place and which side is on the right and which side is on the wrong.
4. They are going to want to know if any laws were broken and who broke the law.
5. They are going to want to see some kind of hard evidence, such as photographs, news reports, coroner's statements, or medical reports, and multiple eye witness accounts from both sides.
You saying, "I lived in that neighborhood and it was a bad time to live there," does not prove anything. You did not even specify a single event that you eye-witnessed. As far as we know at this time, everything you know, you heard from some neighbor, rumor, or gossip. That is not proof.

The fire in Odessa:
1. Was accidental.
The Left-Sector and the Right-Sector were in the streets fighting, shooting guns, throwing bricks at each other and throwing molotov cocktails. The people from the Left ran into the building to escape from the people on the Right. The building caught on fire from the molotov cocktails and they got trapped inside the burning building.
2. It was entirely done by PRIVATE CITIZENS. There were no government people involved and the Ukraine government did not authorize it and was not involved in any way.
After the fire, the local police arrested and charged 22 people who were involved.
-------------
This is not an example of Ukraine government oppression against the Russian-speaking population.

A useful way to understanding what is happening and who is responsible is to go back to the very first event and see who started the whole problem. I got this statement off of the internet:
"On 3 March 2014, 200–500 demonstrators with Russian flags attempted to seize the Odesa Oblast Council building(Russian: ОГА).
They demanded that a referendum on the establishment of an "Odesa Autonomous Republic" be held."
It seems that the Russian-speaking population started the whole problem by attempting to seize the local government and start their own country.
Am I right or am I missing something?
Did the Russian-speaking population start the whole problem?
