So the National Archives does not have these documents in their possession . . . but they know what is in them. 🤷‍♀️ Sure they do. 🤷‍♂️

@onikin The documents are not "government documents." They are public documents. Under U.S. law, the president has custody of the documents while he is in office. Then when he gets out of office, he turns them over to the National Archives. The president is also charged (in U.S. law) with the sole responsibility of deciding which documents should be kept in the archives and which should not.
