@YE-mp4zg When 2 + 2 equals 3 or 5, it is time to start asking questions.

The survival rate has actually improved a lot: The current survival rate is 99.53%.

If that woman thinks her child will be "safe" in a room filled with other children wearing masks, she is mistaken. Masks do not fully prevent the spread of the disease. Their purpose to slow the overall transmission rate. If she wants her child to be "safe," she needs to quarantine her children at home. π Is she saying that on her own? Or did they pay her to say it?

I do not have any children myself, but speaking for family members . . No. Because . . None of us trust the government and we do not believe the vaccine is safe. Particularly. Coronaviruses are subject to something called "antibody dependent enhancement." Anibody dependent enhancement is a situation were a vaccine protects you from the current strain, but 2 years down the road, it makes you more susceptible to the virus variants and you get them more easily and you lose your natural immunity to the virus. So such a vaccine makes the situation worse -- not better. It will take at least 2 years of study to determine if the current vaccines cause ADE. So they are not ready to be declared safe. We basically believe in getting sick and letting your God-given immune system handle it. In the old days, when one child got sick, you would put them all in the same room so they all would catch it at the same time and make it pass quickly. π πΊπΈ βοΈ

@topmog Well Google publishes the numbers from the CDC everyday in a chart. You search for "what are the latest coronavirus numbers" and the chart comes up. Then you do the math. For example: The 7-day moving average of new cases today is 63,807. The 7-day moving average of new deaths is 553. So today's death rate is: 553 Γ· 63,807 = 0.0087 which is 0.87%.

@topmog I have it right, thank you. My method automatically take into account all of the variables that you mentioned. How many hospitals do you know of that are currently filled to capacity and turning away patients? Next time if you think you already know the answer, do not ask the question. What is the point of asking a question and then arguing with the person's answer? If you already knew the answer, you would not have asked the question . . . would you Einstein?

@topmog Man you are an idiot. You asked for a reliable source and I gave you a reliable source. How much more reliable do you want than google giving you the actual numbers from the CDC?? But the CDC does not give you the numbers expressed as "the death rate" -- they give you the raw numbers and then you can use those numbers to calculate the death rate. The math equation I gave you is just the standard equation that tells you how to convert the raw numbers into a percentage -- nothing more. Converting to a percentage gives you the "rate" THAT YOU ASKED FOR. As I said before, in the future, do not ask a question and then argue with the answer. That is the height of idiocy. You are not smart enough to argue with people. And yes, of course the rate is not constant. Why do you think I quoted the 7-day moving average? Because it gives you the MOST UP TO DATE INFORMATION.

CDC gets their numbers from all of the hospitals who report in.
