@riceball4u172 Nice try. But you do not know the United States or economics.
The Americans are the richest people in the world and they are HUGE, HUGE consumers. It is consumer culture in America. They buy houses, cars, motorcycles, boats, recreational vehicles, watches, jewelry, clothes, shoes, new furniture for the house, buy a house at the beach, get a pickup truck, buy a riding lawnmower, trade the car for a bigger car, build a 4-car garage, sell the house and buy a bigger house with an attached garage, buy some land in the country, build a house there, build a barn, get some horses, go on vacation . . .
American life can be exhausting because it is buy, buy, buy . . . spend, spend spend. All day . . every day.
The median American income is $50,000.
The median Chinese income is $13,000.
There is no comparison.
On the other hand, only 400 million people are in the Chinese consumer economy. One billion Chinese people are sideline. They live in poverty and do not have money to spend.
China has 400 million consumers.
America has 346 million consumers.
And American consumers have 4 times more money to spend.

@megatramlan I am not wrong about that.
There is no way to reduce your food intake. You would lose weight and eventually starve to death. You need 1800 calories a day to stay alive.
There is no way to "adapt" to the level of American productions. You would need all of the American machines, all of the American mechanics, all of the factories that produce spare parts, all of the chemicals and fertilizers . . . and all of the American engineering and know how to use all of that stuff and make it all run together synergistically.
Additionally, you would need to operate all of the trucks, trains, and ports that support the farming. And you would need to operate the oilfield and the oil refineries.
Without the actual Americans who have the smarts to do all of that stuff, the whole system is going to shut down. Chinese people are smart. They already operate trains and ports. They would do a reasonably good job at getting some of it going. But they could not do the whole picture. They were not raised in America and do not see all of it together. They would implement standard Chinese techniques.
Without Americans in the picture, the combines would be shut down in the fields and rust away. Then the world would be using the equipment from the 1950s, and the whole world would revert to second world, and in many places, drop from second world to third world. If BRICKS 🧱 wins, this is how life will be.
Also the western banking systems will go down.

@genrcflyer Pretty much all countries use fiat currency now, so you are not setting America separate by saying that.
All countries have inflation also.
And ancient Rome used coins, and they had inflation.
As far as your comment about the wealth gap . . .
You are just saying things without any hard data to back it up.
Point 1:
In 1960, 65% of American households owned their home.
In 2024, 65% of American households own their home.
Point 2:
In 1960, the average house size was 1200 square feet.
In 2024, the average house size is 2300 square feet.
Point 3:
Every American household has more air-conditioners, dishwashers, garbage disposals, and microwave ovens that we did not have before. And most modern houses have a central heating and air-conditioning system. Larger refrigerators. More cars in the driveway.
The material facts and data suggests that lower class Americans just keep getting wealthier.
If you have some PROOF otherwise, I will be happy to look at it. But I do not accept random opinions and vague statements with no hard data.
Credit has nothing to do with the mines. That is just another vague opinion with no data to back it up.
