  1. He was wearing a face mask, one of those woolen winter stocking caps, a winter coat and gloves. You could not see any part of him to know he was an officer -- only the gun. He was dressed for outdoors in an upstairs inner office. I think he was dressed up that way as a disguise because the shooting was planned. He was too far away to be in immediate danger and she was on the opposite side of a heavy door when he fired.

  2. In the incident video . . . He messes around aiming the gun for about 20 seconds while Ashli is messing around trying to figure out how to get through the door. Then he fires and she goes down. The whole time, there are Capitol police officers standing around on the stairwell with rifles watching. When she goes down, the front police officer bends down, then gives him a thumbs up indicating he hit her. Then he checks her pulse and gives him a thumbs down indicating she is dead.

  3. The "shots fired" would have come over his radio. Those would have been outside the building. But as far as I know, no one in the crowd ever fired any shots.

  4.  @Susi-Saks  He would be the only one who could hear his radio as he was hiding inside an office. If it was said on the police radio, there is a recording of it. But without a trial, we will never find out.

  6. He did NOT order stop. He gunned her down from inside an office with only his hand sticking out where you could see it. He was wearing a disguise.
