There is not and never has been "separation of church and state" in this country and that phrase does not appear anywhere in our Constitution. The country itself "is a product of the Bible." Try taking an American history class and inform yourself.

@jeffkardosjr.3825 The Supreme Court said that the Constitution rules also apply to the states. But the Supreme Court also says that this move is a constitutional one.

@ArgyleDariusDunlevey So?
2
@ArgyleDariusDunlevey The First Amendment does not say that. Read it again . . . little fella.

@mmangredi3776 The Declaration of Independence says that ALL Americans believe that our rights are bestowed upon us by our CREATOR. You have to agree to what the Declaration of Independence says in order to be an American. After passing that first test, then the First Amendment applies to all Americans. So, yes, all Americans are Christian. Anyone claiming to be American who isn't Christian is "passing." Whether any of the religions are "fact" or not has nothing to do with interpretation of constitutional law.

How do you know they "do not follow Christ's teachings" ? You don't. You are breaking the ninth commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness. The "false prophets that the Bible warned us about" are the lying liberal media.

It is our American heritage.

@Sbxallday Close all public schools.

@mmangredi3776 Incidentally . . . Since we believe that human rights are bestowed upon us by the Creator and not the government, it follows that everyone in the world has the same exact rights that we have, and we must act accordingly. If we did not believe that rights are bestowed by the Creator and are universal, we could have a double-tier system where Americans have one set of rights and foreigners would have different or no rights. Our basic beliefs prohibit us from doing that.

@krisshnapeswanipeswani3190 Wrong. If the Declaration of Independence were "invalid law," the United States of America 🇺🇸 would still be a British colony today. In the United States, the Declaration of Independence is within the body of "constitutional law." It is the first official document written by the Continental Congress. It may be "invalid law" in your mind, but in the United States Supreme Court, it is VALID constitutional law. You are giving yourself away as not being an American when you make such a claim. No American would have said that. Nice try, but no. Incidentally . . . The Declaration of Independence was ratified into law by the colonies on July 4, 1776. The Fourth of July is the day that we Americans celebrate our independence from Britain with great fireworks displays and such. It is an official United States holiday known as Independence Day. Independence from the British crown is a BIG THING in America. 🦅 😎👍 🇺🇸 ✝️

@krisshnapeswanipeswani3190 You are wrong about the Constitution saying it is "supreme law." It does not say that. And there is nothing in the Constitution saying that the Declaration of Independence no longer applies (or any principles contained in it).

@krisshnapeswanipeswani3190 I am sorry, but you have several errors: 1. The United States was 99% Christian in 1776. According to the polls, it is currently 67% Christian. But you cannot really count the 33% non-christians because the Declaration of Independence says that those people are not Americans. 2. You cannot just interpret the Constitution any old way that you want to interpret it. You have to interpret it according to the INTENT that it was written. 3. There is no "separation of church and state" declared ANYWHERE in the Constitution. 4. The Constitution only applies to Americans. It does not apply to non-americans. So the first amendment also only applies to Americans. You have to be an American first, and THEN the first amendment protects your religious beliefs as a CHRISTIAN. 5. The preamble says nothing to repeal the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration is a separate document with its own uses.

@johnh.mcsaxx3637 The United States is a Christian nation, and the founding documents are clear that only Christians can be Americans. If you have a problem with that, get out. It is not your country.
1
@johnh.mcsaxx3637 You are not going to use your satanic lies to launch your takeover of my country. That is not going to happen. So forget it.
1
@johnh.mcsaxx3637 Having 3 deists surruptiously insert themselves into a group with 52 believing Christians does not carry much weight. We call them "wolves in sheep's clothing." If you want to start looking up the religious beliefs of each American, you can do that. It is in the archives.

@johnh.mcsaxx3637 The FIRST Treaty of Tripoli is a defunct document. The error was corrected in the SECOND treaty.

@dangerdan2592 No. I am telling the truth. The first amendment does not say that, as I said. Go look it up and read it.
