@jw841 Did the Chinese tell you that huh? Africa saw what the Dutch did to South Africa in terms of land ownership so they tightened the laws. In Namibia the percentage of Caucasian is 6% yet they own 70% of the land in Namibia. So the colonialist did not come with good intentions. The Berlin Conference was to cut up Africa invade and colonize. Take France for example: 14 former French colonies are forced to deposit $500 billion in French banks every year interest free. When these African countries want their money France loans them their own money.....AND CHARGES INTEREST. Think of what France exports......thats right nothing! They live their 1st world life off of Africa's wealth yet it is called a shit hole. So you see why they prefer to be left alone. With that money and no G8 interference Africa will be better off.

@jw841 What about the resources the west keeps sucking off of Africa for free or cheap while creating civil wars and selling firearms to both sides? Are you kidding me? 😳😳😠😡? Cobalt is from Congo that has been plagued by civil war the west keeps going by selling weapons. Cobalt is what is needed to make the cell phones and lithium batteries. What you have given you took way way way way way way more in return okay. The West never plays fair. What about the so called loans with predatory terms? African leaders can't call out the IMF or World Bank for fear of coup or civil war or assasination. The last Head of State in Nigeria who dared questioned the Europeans about the loans they gave Nigeria died suddenly and mysteriously. Don't ever talk about the west giving Africa anything. They never come with good intentions. NEVER!!!

@veriteinternational The Chinese have to marry the natives to be able to own land and I believe the land is purchase in the name of the native spouse. I don't believe the Russians will do the same thing that their Western non allies did. I am not concerned about the Russians. The Chinese seem to be uninterested in the country's politics.
