  1. Sabine, please don’t be so mean! Since we will never be able to test string theory directly or apply it in any meaningful way in our lifetimes, why not just accept it as true? That way, many people can be made happy with Nobel prizes in math and physics and what not! Please, for the sake of the poor, starving string theorists, who desperately want that Nobel prize, please relent!
