  1. Max rate of fire? Given the complexity of the ammunition hoist and the fire control systems and the obvious lack of training of the crew necessitating all of the instructions posted at strategic points around the ship, did any British destroyer during World War II ever achieve a rate of fire exceeding one shell from any of its guns per hour?
