  2.  @DarthAwar  Great comment! Thank you. You certainly know your platforms. I did not know that ARM had a restriction about being used in weapons, but you are right (even mentioning RISC-V!) that there are many more platforms available for military purposes. Taking a high level view (close to low earth orbit), I think that these radically more capable weapons that exploit the recent advances in processing power, graphics processing, and AI coupled with reduced power consumption are going to be extremely destabilizing at least for a while. I just hope that the US military does a much better job this time with respect to understanding and preparing for the newer, more capable weapons than it did prior to Pearl Harbor with respect to the new aviation capabilities that were emerging at that time. I'm sure they will react (no one in the US military wants to be "Pearl Harbored" again!) but I'm not sure if it will be too little or too much. Considering how complex the new realities being created by these new weapons are going to be, I'm sure that there will be a number of missteps before the answers about how to restructure US forces and weapons appropriately become clear. A similar thing happened back in the late 1800s and early 1900s when turbine marine engines and the all big gun battleship (HMS Dreadnought) emerged. Naval power arrangements were radically destabilized at that time which led to the naval arms race between Britain and Germany which was a big factor in causing WW1.
