Your faith in the justice system is cute, but laughable. Believing that the justice system has any validity anymore now that the Supreme Court has demonstrated beyond doll doubt that it will do anything to help Trump get elected borders on being pitiful. Even if Trump is found guilty, he will not really be punished. Even if Trump is sentenced to jail, he will not go to jail. I wish you were correct but unfortunately I don’t think you are. Perhaps the outcome of this case will convince you that you should leave the legal profession because it no longer functions.
