Your comment about endemicity doesn’t really make sense does it? Whether immunity is conferred by vaccine or contracting the virus, why wouldn’t the virus evolve in both cases? What makes natural immunity or naturally acquired immunity so much superior? Why do you think the Covid virus would evolve in the presence of vaccine acquired immunity but not in the presence of naturally acquired immunity? Does not really makes sense does it?

@asingh7874 Natural immunity may be better, but the fact that people acquire natural immunity does not mean that the virus doesn’t continue to evolve in the presence of their naturally acquired immunity. That seems to me to be what Dr. Campbell is implying that in the presence of naturally acquired immunity the virus will not become endemic And continue to evolve. If that, indeed were the case, then, getting influenza, one time would be enough to protect you from all other variance of influenza, a and influenza, would give up evolving, which is obviously doesn’t.
