  8. Wrong! The Supreme Court has given the president, the power to break any law at any time in the course of his duties if he thinks it needs to be broken. I think it’s only a small step for the Supreme Court to say that the president can modify any part of the constitution at any time for any reason as part of his duties if he thinks it’s necessary. I think the Supreme Court is going to uphold Trump‘s rewriting of the 14th amendment on birthright citizenship on this “legal” basis.

Trump is infinitely flexible on truth, morals, principles, ethics, loyalty, policies, etc. Trump will spin on a dime up to and including selling his daughter on the streets of NYC to anyone for any purpose if it will get him enough additional money or votes. Attributing Republican policy inflexibility to Trump is ludicrous. Christian Nationalists, on the other hand, can NEVER change or compromise on policy because their policies are derived from the actual, literal, proven WORD OF GOD (the English version, of course) and thus are ETERNAL and can NEVER CHANGE. No matter how many times Republicans lose at the poles, the Christian Nationalists will run on the same policies. As far as Christian Nationalists are concerned, their challenge is NOT to adopt new policies, but to find a better way to cloak their real policies and intentions from voters long enough to trick a majority to mistakenly vote for them so that once in office they can impose their GODLY policies.

What is the point of the Supreme Court making Trump immune to prosecution for breaking the law if Trump is restricted in what he can do by the US Constitution?

My answer to the second question is that Republicans who turned their back on Trump before it became fashionable to do so will never be forgiven! Those Republicans will always be considered traders and will never be allowed to hold significant positions in the Republican party or to work on Republican campaigns in the future. Likewise, since Republicans in this category probably are more conservative in their policy choices. They will also never be fully trusted by the Democrats. In short, these Republicans can never go home again.

The Trump deportations are like musical chairs, if you pay enough bribes as a business or an undocumented worker, you will not suffer from them. If you don’t pay the bribes you will. So there is a high incentive by businesses and undocumented workers to pay bribes to make sure that you can stay out of the deportation cohort.
