Netanyahu is definitely accomplishing his objectives! Netanyahu is taking revenge on Gaza not because he cares about taking revenge on Gaza, but because he wants to somehow convince Israel to keep him as Prime Minister after this war is over. Netanyahu is worried about his personal survival! If Netanyahu loses power before he has destroyed the judiciary in Israel, or before he can prevent a real fact finding about what happened before this war, Netanyahu will not just go to prison he’ll probably be executed for treasonable malfeasance!
