What is the quote idiot index“ of building a bridge to nowhere? As far as I can tell, the only hard plan for starship is to get large payloads to low earth orbit. Except there isn’t really a market or a lot of customers who want to get large payload to low earth orbit except maybe the defense department. For what I have heard, there aren’t any really good plans for using starship to get to the moon or mars. So, starship is really just a bridge to low earth orbit that’s being sold as if it were a bridge to the moon and Mars. What is the idiot index of that? And who is the idiot? is it Elon or is it all of us who are paying the taxes that are funding what he’s doing?
