  1. The fact that the Americans dropped atomic bombs on Japan saved hundreds of millions if not billions of lives. The only reason that there hasn’t been a nuclear war since World War II is because the leaders of the countries that have the bomb have seen the hard facts of how terrible it would be to use them again. Let’s hope they don’t forget.
