Russia is going down, but the United States paid for this with the lives of the Ukrainians. The United States could have pushed war weapons into Ukraine sooner, and perhaps beaten off the Russians, sooner at a lower cost of Ukrainian lives. But if the United States have done that, the Russian economy would not have been as damaged as it now is. The question is, did the United States sacrifice Ukrainian lives on purpose to achieve the place where we are now, a Russian economy that is horribly wounded and will take decades to recover? The other question is, was this course of action the best course of action, even though it did sacrifice more Ukrainian lives and Russian lives for that matter.?

@ Nice quote, but that only applies to people who actually have a future. Trump does not have a future! Trump knows he’s going to die soon and he has told us from the very first day of his campaign when he spoke in Waco, Texas that he was out for retribution! Trump is like a pilot who knows he’s just about to die and he has decided that he’s gonna take everybody on the plane with him. Look at everything that Trump has announced. Everything is designed to create chaos and to turn everything around him to shit just as fast as possible. He’s not trying to ensure the success of the Republican Party in the future! He’s not trying to make a lot of money for himself! Or his children! Everything he is doing is designed to cause chaos to destroy trust to destroy institutions to make everybody and everything weaker and more unhappy. Your “is applicable to people who have a future because people who act with malice in the future can expect to be punished for it. So, reasonable people don’t act with malice and what they do that appears to be malice is probably stupidity. Trump does not have a future, and your quote does not apply!
