@Taskandpurpose As Spartan mothers used to tell their sons "Come back with your shield or on it!" You might want to address two additional topics: 1. Are Russian generals putting themselves in harms way to either die a hero or at least become a wounded hero? I have to think that if they don't at least get wounded, Putin's security folks will eventually arrest them, try them for their corruption and gross incompetence, have them shot, AND THEN PUNISH THEIR FAMILIES HORRIBLY. Getting wounded or dying probably looks like a good deal! 2. What is Putin going to do to the Russian soldiers who "lose" their vehicles or come walking back across the Russian border? Putin idolizes Stalin and I know what Stalin would have done.
