Trump is the golden calf from the Old Testament! Trump promises endless money and unlimited power to all of his followers. The Republicans are dancing around and around and around Trump and worshiping him because of this. Unfortunately, the Republicans will keep dancing until their legs get tired, or it becomes clear that Trump has lied to them all along. Unfortunately, the odds are pretty good that Trump is going to be able to do enough damage to America that all of us will have to suffer in the wilderness for the next 40 years before we can recover.
