Intel may not be doing well now, but you have to congratulate them for stifling innovation for over a decade which helped make them one of the most profitable and one of the most largest companies in the world! Year after year they just turned out another four core CPU with modest gains in performance and yet they were able to keep the competition from overcoming them. That kind of ability to stifle innovation is something that should be studied and celebrated!
