Chris: to me the key question is are there signs that Trump‘s billionaire friends have hedged themselves in anticipation of a major collapse of the market. If Trump starts mass deportations this next week, I have a feeling that the market will suffer huge declines as people are worried that major corporations will be adversely affected by the loss of cheap labor. Do you see any signs that Trump’s billionaire friends have hedged themselves yet?

The only thing that Trump really has to fear is his own mouth! I really doubt that Trump is going to be able to keep his mouth shut during the sentencing because so many people will be watching and the temptation to open his mouth and shoot it off will be too great For his little tiny brain to resist. If Trump opens his mouth, he may never be able to close it again. I have no doubt that if Trump opens his mouth, he will say things that will haunt him and his family down through centuries to come. Fear the mouth, Donald! It will devour you if you can’t keep it closed.

My understanding is that like Reagan making a better deal with the radians, Nixon or the people around him made a deal with the North Vietnamese to kill the peace talks prior to the 1968 election to help them win that election against Hubert Humphrey. Seems like Republicans never let ethics get in the way of winning.

For me, the greatest crime that Elon is committing is that he is significantly lowering the bar on what it takes to be a fraudster. Think of the hard work and the detail orientation that went into the frauds of Enron and Bernie Madoff and Ponzi and other great frauds. Even Trump in his fraud on banks put in a significant amount of work in order to lie to them. But Elon just tells the stupidest lies without any care or supporting detail. It’s terrible! There’s something beautiful about about a really great fraudster, but Elon is just a slap Dash idiot With no art at all in his thievery.

Musk should already be in jail for his false claims. The fact that he is not may be for the following reason: 1. Elon is a useful idiot. Tesla is developing electric cars that the Biden administration wants and developing Starship that the Department of Defense wants. 2. The Harris campaign does not want to draw the anger of the Musk cult members until after the election. Let us all hope that Judgement Day is coming for Elon and that it will be increasingly severe the longer it takes.

Trump is going to crash the economy on a tight schedule so that he and his billionaire friends can be hedged at the right time to make as much money as possible on a falling market. He will apply tariffs in addition to force other companies into even worse financial shape so that he and his billionaire friends, and then buy those companies at fire sale prices without fear that the department of justice will raise any Monopoly concerns. In 2026, Trump will rescind the tariffs and the economy will begin to recover and Trump and the billionaires will take credit for this so that the Republicans could be swept back into office in 2026.

Chris, you are missing the bigger picture! Elon, the cyber truck, turd designer, needs the FAA to be dysfunctional so that it will rubberstamp everything that he wants SpaceX to do with no consideration of safety. If six or so people had to die for that, that’s just the cost of saving the human race and colonizing Mars in just two more years time! Don’t you see that killing people here in America or elsewhere because the FAA no longer works is just an acceptable cost?
