Steam engine manufacturers bankrupted by diesel electric! You should include mention of this famous business school case that describes how all of the steam locomotive manufacturers in the United States went bankrupt when diesel electric engines came into the marketplace. The steam locomotive companies were completely unable to switch over to diesel electric even though they had so many of the other technologies necessary to build engines for the railroad. This may be what’s going to happen to the traditional by CE car makers. They have so much investment in I CE that they will just never be able to transition to EV.

@TheEvilmooseofdoom Twitter is a political hot potato that is very unlikely to yield much in the way of money. To the extent that musk overseas Twitter he will be taking time away from much more important tasks associated with Tesla and SpaceX. To the extent that he doesn’t oversee them he will be leaving himself open to criticism for the actions of other people who probably will come up with the wrong answers. As far as my ass is concerned, it’s a very nice house and things that I pull out of it generally aren’t that bad.
