It’s not the government, it’s the car in the street. Look at the long track record the car industry has had in fighting every safety innovation or consumer centric innovation. For that matter, it’s not just the car industry. Look at how much money the fossil fuel industries have and are spending to try and downplay the effects of global warming due to man-made climate change. It’s not the government. Entrenched interests are always going to manipulate whatever they can to try and fend off new competition.

Where are the independent test results for full self driving? Where are the test results Sandy? How much is Tesla paying you to avoid asking for independent test results of full self driving? This entire video about the cyber taxi and how few parts it has is meaningless unless full self driving works. Why aren’t you asking For independent test results of full self driving? Why are you satisfied with anecdotes about full self driving when your entire business is built around actually going and investigating reality? How much is Tesla paying you? Why have you thrown away all of your principles in values and morals to jump on board Elon Musk train to nowhere? Where are the independent test results of full self driving Sandy? Where is the Sandy Monroe who used to deal in reality?

Nice video! It was nice to hear another perspective.

You’re talking about the wrong stuff! Who the hell cares about fasteners these days? The only thing that really matters is how can we raise the stock price in the short term for the executives at Ford so that they can get rich soon? Think about things? Actually try and simplify things? You are such a loser!

The good news: every time Sandy praises the cyber truck, a little piece of his soul dies. how much is Elon paying Sandy? Is Elon really paying Sandy enough for Sandy to drag his credibility through the mud deeper and deeper every day?

FSD Liability? Does Tesla assume liability if FSD makes a mistake fatal for another driver or pedestrian? Why should anyone believe FSD works if Tesla is not willing to put its money where its mouth is? Is that how you operate, Sandy? You say nice things about companies that put money in your pocket?

@BigBen621 Thanks for pointing that out! So what you were telling me is that the success of FSD will depend on car insurance companies. And insurance regulators. And state legislators. No it turns out that insurance is regulated on the state-by-state basis in this country. So it is extremely possible , that FSD may be OK with some insurance companies in some states as long as the state legislature allows it. Something tells me that insurance companies will probably be very hesitant to ensure FSD given that it has no real track record in this country. You might say that FSD is going to get a impressive track record in the China of the CCP, but I don’t think so, because the CCP which I have no doubt is being handsomely compensated by Elon to allow FST in China has very bad track record for censoring any data that they don’t want published. Therefore, I don’t think American regulators are going to pay much attention to any reports coming out of CCP China. Though r here probably be some insurance companies that will insure Tesla cars withFSD, I think you can bet your bottom dollar that they will fight like hell to avoid any liability if they can say that it was the drivers fault that they did not intervene in time.

@BigBen621 You are correct, YOU did not say that. But you did remind of the reality here. In today's world, every body must have insurance to protect themselves from natural and manmade disasters and to protect others from disasters they may cause. If motorists start using FSD - and their insurance companies learn of it - they will have to pay higher premiums in all probability. If Tesla launches Robo Taxis, then any accident caused by FSD in a Robo Taxi will either be paid for by an insurance company or by Tesla directly. Please not that insurance companies DO NOT HAVE TO provide insurance at reasonable rates or at all. In Florida, for example, many home insurance companies have left the state altogether and the remaining ones are dramatically raising their rates because of the huge losses they may experience during the next hurricane. If insurance companies are not convinced that FSD is safe, they will charge motorists dramatically higher premiums or stop providing insurance at all - on a state-by-state basis. The same will be true of Robo Taxis. Any Robo Taxi insurance premiums will have to be passed on to Robo Taxi users so it might well turn out that out that Robo Taxi rides will cost substantially more than Lyft, Uber, or other taxi services that have human drivers.

QUESTION: In ICE World, how much would less weight help? In the EV World, less weight obviously helps - apparently a lot in terms of range. In the ICE World, less weight could be achieved as well, right? So, would less weight in the ICE World help fuel economy and, if so, by how much? If the answer is that less weight could help the auto makers achieve significantly higher fuel economy for ICE cars, then why the Hell didn't they do that instead of always whining about how getting higher fuel economy was TOO hard?

Who cares about the motor? Why don’t you answer the important question, how much bribery money does Elonazi pay Sandy now?
