  1. Question: are nuclear power plant operators looking at grid scale battery storage as an adjunct? It seems to me that nuclear power plants are massively under utilized at night when the demand for electricity becomes lower. If nuclear power plants were paired with Grid scale battery storage, then there would be a back up for times when the nuclear power plant had to go off-line but also an extra amount of electricity capacity available to meet unexpected peak needs. Are any nuclear power plant operators actively looking into this? Please tell me that the makers of grid scale battery storage are not waiting for large renewable energy sources to come online!!! They should be working with nuclear power plant operators today!!!
