  1. Thank goodness for the ghost cities! Imagine the economic chaos if the CCP and treated the Chinese people fairly and allow them to buy assets in the west with their money. Imagine if the CCP didn’t have to fear the Chinese people because the CCP had stolen their money? Imagine if the CCP had not used the Chinese peoples money to build an ineffective military into over build poorly constructed infrastructure just to keep things going and issued mountains and mountains of debt. As it is now, the CCP is afraid of the Chinese people and desperate to try and find someway to keep hiding, all of the theft that they’ve already accomplished.

  2. Also, make work! The Chinese government could just offer investment opportunities to people or allow them to invest overseas but that would NOT create all of the jobs that building these ghost cities creates. Not just the construction workers but the workers that make the concrete or make the equipment that clears the land and digs the foundation or that makes any type of glass or doorways or whatever that goes into the exteriors of these buildings. So building ghost cities is a tremendous benefit not only for sucking up all of the investment wealth of the Chinese but also giving them essentially useless jobs that can keep them occupied.
