  1. You have to salute Elon, however! This guy has been making completely wild false promises to shareholders and prospective shareholders for years, and yet he hasn’t been successfully sued into oblivion, or put in prison by the SEC. That is without a doubt, a great accomplishment!

  2. The people who work for Elon should, indeed thank him! Elon takes credit for the work of everyone who works for him, and never mentions anyone else by name with the very small exception of people who make presentations alongside him. Normally, this will be a bad thing such as it is at SpaceX with regards to the falcon nine. However, at Tesla, the people who work for Elon, are extremely lucky that their names are not put out there, specifically by Elon, so that their reputations will be as ruined as his.
