Boeing and the FAA are rushing to put out a software update that may not work. It may not be possible in software alone to compensate for the changes in the 737 max. What is the testing and certification process going to be for the software update? How much pilot retraining will be required? If the new software does not restore flight characteristics to the 737 max that the current pilots are used to, isn’t it very possible that we’ll see additional crashes caused by pilots who do not fully understand how to handle the new airplane?
