@rurdy2rk380 While I agree with you whole-heartedly, many 10s of millions of voters have swallowed many of Trump's lies, big and small. This is very unfortunate, but true. If you overlook how bad that is (which is very difficult I agree), however, Trump is skillfully building upon his past lies here and for that I had to give him a tip of the hat. But don't mistake me; my appreciation of Trump is a step towards eventually defeating him and everything he slimes for.

On this issue, I have to say that Trump is a genius as much as I don’t want to see it! By coming out for vaccines, Trump can now take credit and bask in the claim over the vaccine development process and he can also make people like Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida who might pose a threat to him in the future look like an idiot. It doesn’t matter that Trump is probably in many respects completely reversing himself, what matters is whether or not Trump can find some way to “Trump“ his potential rivals.
