  1. How can Boeing claim to have an effective software update ready when in just the past 48 hours significant new information has come out about the Ethiopian crash? I’m amazed when you say that you have confidence in Boeing when it is obvious that they are rushing a software patch out to protect their bottom line and withou waiting to make sure it’s correct so that passenger safety is not compromised. Considering that if you criticize Boeing or the FAA at all, you could easily be blacklisted and forced out of your chosen profession, I think it’s disingenuous of you to give an opinion about the safety of the 737 max.

  2. Mentour Pilot The fact that the software update has been in development for several months does not reassure me considering that the MCAS system itself probably was in development far longer. Also, I still don’t believe that they can solve a problem when all of the information about the problem is not yet in. Doesn’t seem to make sense to me.
