Tony! Please do some analysis! If consumer spending is up, where is this money coming from? It’s not coming from the governments, local or central and it’s not coming from employment, because economic activity is down! Where is it coming from, savings? If so, how long can it last?

@thomasherrin6798 So, increased consumer demand may not be the good sign of a strong Chinese economic recovery the investment bankers who are hungry to plow my money into China are hoping for?

@brucetownsend691 Of course, I agree with your comment, but the key issue that you mention in prep passing is “if they continued to be paid”. From the reports I read, there are many professions in China that were forced to continue working during the pandemic, but were not continued to be paid and looking at the current economic situation of the local and central governments, there’s some real doubt if they ever will be paid.
