Summary: CCP claims that Chinese economy will magically grow at more than 4% next year! The growth will have to be magic because it’s not clear what if anything is driving growth in the Chinese economy: real estate prices are down as is demand, the stock market is going down,western firms are pulling out of China as fast as they can, the demographic crisis is just getting worse, the pollution crisis is just getting worse, unemployment is very high and likely to stay that way, the debt crisis is getting worse, etc.

@YourHineyness very true. However, you forgot the all important last clause of that saying which is “… Or I’ll shoot you”.

@YourHineyness Very, very true. I do have to admit that so far the CCP does not seem to engaging in mass executions the way Stalin was fond of doing (though I'm sure they are doing a goodly number behind closed doors. ) But that may just be a measure of how effective their censorship is.
