  344. An assessment of Elon Musk: Amateurishness is one of Elon’s dominant traits. He has never learned a profession and basically has always remained an outsider in all fields of endeavor. Like many self-taught people, Elon has no idea what real specialized knowledge really means. Without any sense of the complexities of any great task, he boldly assumes one function after another. Unburdened by standard ideas, his quick intelligence sometimes conceives unusual measures which a specialist would not have hit on at all. The victories of the early years of Elon’s business career can literally be attributed to his ignorance of the rules of the game and his layman's delight in decision making. Since opposing sides were trained to apply rules which Elon’s self-taught autocratic mind did not know and did not use, he achieved surprises. These audacities, coupled with financial superiority, were the basis of his early successes. But now that setbacks have occurred he has suffered shipwreck, like most untrained people. Now his ignorance of the rules of the game are revealed as another kind of incompetence; now his defects are no longer strengths. The greater the failures become, the more obstinately his incurable amateurishness comes to the fore. The tendency to wild decisions has long been Elon’s forte; now it is speeding his downfall. NOTE: This is a paraphrase of the assessment of Hitler that Albert Speer (a German architect who served as the Minister of Armaments and War Production in Nazi Germany during most of World War II) wrote in his memoirs, “Inside the Third Reich”. This was quoted in the video entitled “207 - Manstein Goes Great War Style - WW2 - August 13, 1943” on the YouTube channel with the title of “World War Two”.

  460. Make Starship OPENSOURCE!!! If Elon Musk is really serious about saving the human race from being wiped out by war or an asteroid or a virus or dramatic climate change, etc., then he should make the current version of the Starship (but not the Raptor engines) and the Super Heavy booster OPENSOURCE creative commons. Not licensed, but opensource so that the maximum number of different countries and corporations would have a good starting point to vastly increase the world's economical heavy lift rockets for exploiting and colonizing space. Think about it - this would unleash so much more money and intelligence towards space. Companies and countries that cannot currently afford to develop reusable space vehicles would suddenly be "in the game"! These countries and companies would no have to waste valuable talent, time and money developing reusable space vehicles from the ground up (i.e., reinventing the wheel) but could instead apply that money and time to making improvements to Starship or to use the Starship technology to make entirely new vehicles and - more importantly - apply those Starships to accomplishing a plethora of new projects in addition to colonizing Mars. Making the current version of Starship open source would certainly help speed the exploration and exploitation of Mars but could actually help SpaceX maybe more than anyone else: 1. A huge amount of new engineering talent and money would become available to improve and iterate on the Starship. Elon may be a genius, but even a genius can't think of everything you need entirely on his own. I have no doubt that SpaceX would want to buy or license many new Starship-related technologies from the new companies and countries that began improving Starship. 2. Making Starship open source would mean that there would very, very soon be a WHOLE LOT MORE STARTSHIP class launch vehicles which would bring launch costs down significantly in the VERY NEAR FUTUEW. 3. More companies and countries having their own Starships (or improved versions) would allow a huge number of new space-based endeavors to start and flourish in addition to Elon's project to colonize Mars. Other companies and countries would probably want to more aggressively and much sooner pursue projects such as colonization of low Earth orbit, near term mining of near-Earth asteroids, colonization of the Moon, exploration and colonization of Venus, exploration, and exploitation of the asteroid belt, further exploration of Jupiter and Saturn, investigation of the possibility of life on the moons of other planets, building large new space-based telescopes, building solar energy harvesting stations to beam power to Earth, building effective asteroid defense systems, and YES, more countries going to colonize Mars among many other projects. 4. Lower the main barrier that companies and countries face in undertaking new space-based endeavors. Namely, the costs, time, and most importantly risks that they would fail at the first step - developing a completely reusable launch vehicle. 5. More companies and countries operating their own Starships would vastly speed up the understanding of the issues involved with operating fleets of Starships and would allow for a diversity of different operational approaches to be implemented and evaluated 6. Spread the risk!!! Right now, the fate of Starship is completely dependent upon the continuation of SpaceX and - in reality - Elon Musk staying healthy and productive. Right now, SpaceX could easily go bankrupt if they have any major accident that causes investors and governments to lose faith in SpaceX. If Elon Musk stops being healthy and productive, accomplishments by SpaceX would undoubtedly slow down drastically if not stop altogether. If dozens of companies and countries are building and operating their own Starships, any single accident or company bankruptcy would just "one of those unfortunate things" but far, far from a reason to lose faith in what Starships are and can do. 7. Turn enemies into collaborators and partners: Right now, it is probably the case that many large companies and countries would be less than sad - and probably very happy - to see SpaceX fail and, undoubtedly are lobbying hard to make that happen. If Starship becomes open source then these companies would be able jump onboard the reusable spacecraft revolution instead of sitting on the sidelines being jealous. 8. Greatly increase the market demand for heavy launch vehicles over what it is now. Right now its hard to find a lot of customers who think they need heavy launch vehicles which means that heavy launch vehicles seldom fly now. However, with an opensource Starship more projects that depend on heavy launch vehicles would start - first in a trickle and then in a flood - and the market for heavy launch services will increase exponentially. Elon Musk thinks that the human race must expand into Space as soon as possible to survive. What better way to increase the speed and breadth of this expansion than to greatly increase the companies and countries who can bring money and talent to the effort? NOTE: I don't recommend that the Raptor engine be open sourced. Open sourcing both Starship and Raptor would immediately give countries like Iran and North Korea everything they need to build very dangerous ballistic missile sources. Most countries already can build ballistic missiles of some sort, but creating a Raptor-class motor is way beyond their current capabilities.

  565. You are right. Elon is failing. I think you left out a number of other areas in which he is failing. 1. No independent testing of full self driving software. Everything you see the Internet or anecdotes by either fanboy or people who are flat out being paid to say nice things about full self driving. 2. The heat shield that the entire starship design is based on is failing. Recently musk has began mumbling about using a metal heat shield that has fuel or something leaking out of it to cool it off. Of course there are no figures whatsoever in terms of how much the current heatshield weighs and of course, since SpaceX has never recovered a complete second stage, they really don’t know what’s going on with the heat shield and any great detail. No 3. The boring company that digs tunnels is basically going nowhere fast. 4. The neural link company might eventually deliver a product, but it’s probably decades away. 5. There is no detailed information about whether or not Starlink can actually make money even if it has all of its satellites lofted. How much is it gonna cost to operate? How often will satellites need to be replaced? What is the overall bandwidth that you’ll be able to pump through it? 6. The Tesla semi seems to be going nowhere fast. Plus, I think it would be eagerly awaited by people who want to destroy bridges and infrastructure because it makes such a great rolling fire bomb. 7. The day is coming soon when some terrorist organization realizes that they can drive a Tesla car of any variety into a parking garage set it on fire and cause a major incident not so much with casualties, but with property damage and inconvenience to people. 8. The Robo taxi business looks like a real loser. No one has pointed out that Robo taxi that can only carry two people will actually cause double of the car on the road if a family of four or even a family of three needs to take a taxi. So much for the Robo taxis, taking cars off the road. 9. The low-cost Tesla is still a myth despite having been promised a year after a year after year. In one area, it is indisputable that musk has made progress. He has completed 100s of millions of dollar transaction with Trump to get him himself into a place where he can keep regulators from actually doing their job and where he can talk to his good friend cash Patel and have people who criticize him and his accomplishments actually put in jail with the FBI.

  750. The real Elon musk question is what is the next bandwagon that he will attempt to jump on? Yes, he pioneer a reusable rocket the falcon nine but he bought his way into Tesla (or bullied his way in) then he tried to jump onto the full self driving bandwagon, then he tried to jump onto the robot bandwagon. Then he tried to jump onto the cyber taxi bandwagon. Then he tried to jump onto the pick up truck bandwagon then he tried to jump onto the Tesla semi truck bandwagon. Then he tried to jump onto the starling bandwagon which other companies actually were doing before Starlink then he tried to jump onto the NeuroLink bandwagon then he tried to jump onto the AI bandwagon. So, the real question is what is the next bandwagon that Elon will try and jump on? Will it be pharmaceutical related? Oh, and he’s also trying to jump onto the government bandwagon now, but that’s not Covid very well. So the question is how will Elon dais again by moving in a new direction where he claims that he’s going to revolutionized it? (Oh, I forgot the boring company and hyper loop.) I think Elon is desperate at this point for a new dazzling area to jump into. AI is getting a bit long in the tooth And the Tesla robot is far behind robots of other companies and I don’t think he’s going to catch up there. Full self driving is not gonna work so cyber taxi is not going to work. Oh, I forgot the the Tesla battery that was going to revolutionized batteries which has not really revolutionized batteries. And of course, there was the Tesla lithium mining approach, which was going to revolutionized extracting lithium, which is not really revolutionized anything. And of course, there was the colonizing, the moon and Mars thing which are now years and years behind schedule and people are losing interest in both of those activities. As far as the government thing is concerned, Elon‘s first, Four into that area was such a disaster that even cancer kids are laughing at him. Way to go, Elon, you brought joy to the carts of cancer kids! Perhaps Elon is going to buy a professional football team or soccer team?Actually, another bandwagon that he is definitely jumping on is building a compound to hold all of his out of wedlock children. I guess you could also say that he’s jumped on the anti-trans pan wagon but that bandwagon is pretty small and not really going anywhere. So what will Elon’s next trick be?

  992. Suggested Video: Why Did Xi Jinping Impose the "3 Red Lines" Policy? As a small-brain, short-term, weak thinking, fundamentally-corrupt bourgeois Westerner, I don't understand why the big-brain, long-game, mystically-powered, genius-thinkers of the CCP suddenly imposed the "3 Red Lines" policy?!? As a small-brain, short-term, weak-thinking, fundamentally corrupt bourgeois Westerner, what I think gave rise to the "3 Read Lines" policy that is now endangering the very existence of the CCP includes: 1. The CCP policy makers did not have adequate accurate information about the real financial situation of the Chinese real estate sector either because they were too lazy to go get or because the CCP had allowed for so much systematic corruption to thrive at all levels of Chinese government and business that the data was impossible to get. 2. If the CCP policy makers DID have the data (even if only a potion of it) then they did little or no analysis about the likely outcomes of imposing the "3 Red Lines" policy and cutting the Chinese real estate sector off from more borrowing that would have allowed them to cover up their precarious financial situation. 3. The CCP policy makers fastened onto the "3 Red Lines" policy to indulge their fascination with policies that look good on a bumper sticker and include a number in the name. 4. The CCP policy makers showed little or no imagination in different approaches to reducing the real estate bubble. For example, they could have quietly worked with the real estate companies to sell off non-core assets and businesses (while these were still attractive to other investors), speed up the completion of their building projects so they could access any escrow funds, and help them to do limited borrowing to refinance/restructure the most urgent debt repayments to avoid a huge loss in international investor confidence. 5. The CCP policy makers in the Xi Jinping faction imposed the "3 Red Lines" policy to embarrass and destroy the rival CCP factions with little or no regard to what the collapse of the Chinese real estate sector would do to endangering China and the CCP as a whole. Please help me understand! As a small-brain, short-term, weak-thinking, fundamentally corrupt bourgeois Westerner I want to bow down and - nay, kneel down and kowtow - to the big-brain, long-game, mystically-powered, genius thinkers of the CCP and surrender totally, abjectly, and apologetically but until I can understand the true genius of the "3 Red Lines" policy, I must admit I am hesitating - and for that I am truly very, very, very sorry and deserving of punishment!

1026. Drones are not the most important thing in the Ukrainian war! Unfortunately, the Pentagon probably will end up buying a lot of drones as a result of the Ukrainian war. However, it is very likely that they will miss the most important part of what Ukraine is doing, which is that they have successfully implemented a virtuous feedback loop that is making their drones better and better and their drone tactics better and better. The feedback loop has at least the following steps 1. Design drones and Plan drone attacks 2. Carry out the drone attacks. 3. Evaluate the results and come up with modifications to the design of the drones and the design of the drone tactics. 4. Incorporate the drone modifications and drone tactic modifications into the next design and implementation of drones and drone attacks. The pentagon probably will buy a lot of very good drones. But it is also very unlikely that they will be able to be as nimble as Ukraine in terms of implementing a virtuous feedback loop because implementing such a virtuous feedback loop is almost impossible, given the current contracting and project Structure in the defense industry. I doubt very seriously that the pentagon will do anything to upset the apple cart of the defense industry and require them to be as nimble as Ukraine. I’m not a big fan of Elon Musk, I am a big fan of the engineers and the Deers at SpaceX. With regards to the development of the falcon nine launch vehicle, it was clear that they had a very nimble feedback loop in place. They also seem to be doing the same nimble feedback loop with starship, though the influence of Elon Musk demanding that they do stupid publicity stunts like a booster catch on flight five is very dangerous to the overall health of SpaceX and the development of the starship. Space should be commended for what they did with falcon nine and I hope that they will not allow the idiot supreme clown. Child Elon SpaceX with his stupid publicity stunts.

1027. Right! Right! Right! You are so right about this upcoming Robo taxi announcement! This will be a firehose of lies! In addition to choosing a back lot where he can fake Robotix driving around, every word out of the supreme child, idiot musk mouth will be a lie. 1. Elon will lie about the capabilities of Rotax. 2. Elon will lie about the schedule on which Robotex features in capabilities will roll out. 3. Elon will lie about data that has been collected in China. It will be fraudulent data and it will be data that leaves out anything embarrassing or awkward. It will be worthless. 4. Elon will lie about the cost of the Robo taxi and how fast it charges and how many people can really carry and how much luggage it can carry. 5. Elon will lie about how quickly a Robo taxi service will start in any city in the United States or anywhere else in the world, except China. 6. Elon will lie about how much money normal Tesla cars owners can make using Robo taxi. 7. Elon will forget to mention or lie about the operational aspects of running a Robotix business. 8. Elon will lie about business partners who are going to jump in and help him run a mammoth Rotax business. 9. Will lie about how fast Robaxisal roll out. Considering how slow the cyber truck manufacturing process has been, I would be very surprised if they can ever get up to 1000 units a month in the manufacturing of Robo Axis Consulting. I look forward to hearing you dissect all of the flood of lies that Elon will come out with on October 10. That is, of course, assuming that October 10 will not be postponed yet again.

At times like these, Elon fans need to take comfort in Elon’s genius mantras: - The best promise is one that is not kept. - The best stock price is a manipulated stock price. - The best apology is one that is never made. - The best predictions are those that garners huge amounts of attention even though they obviously will never come true. - The best children are those you never have to financially or emotionally support. - The best part is one that falls off. - The best schedule is one that is impossible to achieve. - The best operational approaches are those that are completely unworkable. - The best regulation is one that is completely ignored. - The best precaution is one that is never thought of. - The best safety check is one that is never made. - The best goalpost is one that is constantly moving. - The best government is one with no checks and balances. - The best debts are those that are never repaid. - The best obligation is one that is never acknowledged. - The best accolades are those stolen from the people who actually deserve them. - The best sign of progress being made is repeated catastrophic failures. - The best designs are those that are deeply flawed. - The best claims are those that are never allowed to be tested. - The best partner is one who is forced out. - The best worker is one who is laid off. - The best employee is one that is effectively a slave. - The best lie is the biggest lie. - The best warranties are those that cannot be enforced. - The best contracts are those that are torn up. - The best reviews are done by those reviewers who thought they were going to receive a huge payoff. - The best investors are those who are too stupid to understand the risks they are taking.

1237. Inverse Benchmarks? Benchmark how well game programs are advancing in exploiting the new, high core-count CPUs. Instead of using games to benchmark CPUs, use CPUs with different core counts and multi-core architectures to benchmark the progress of game programming. With the emergence of new AI and data analysis algorithms, high core-count CPUs are here to stay and core-counts are likely to get even higher. This is a new technology direction that, so far, game programmers are still learning how to exploit. Therefore, there seems to be a need for new types of benchmarks that can measure their progress. Questions to be answered with these new types of benchmarks could include: 1. Are games increasing the number of CPU cores they use effectively? 2. Is there a de facto limit to the number of CPU cores games can effectively use? 3. Will higher CPU core-count ever trump higher clock speeds on one or two cores? 4. Is it better to turbo boost all CPU cores or just a few (thus saving on heat)? 5. Is there a stand-out game programming approach that is significantly better at using high CPU core-counts? 6. Is one multi-CPU core implementation much better than others (Intel vs. Ryzen, Intel X-lake vs. Intel Y-lake, Ryzen 2 vs. Ryzen Plus, etc.). 7. What type of on-chip cache memory configuration and sizes are most important? 8. Could more CPU cores be used effectively to pre-process tasks for graphics cards or for new categories of cards that provide new types of highly parallel dedicated processing? Benchmarking by independent reviewers of graphics cards has obviously been a huge contributing factor to advancements in these cards. Now that a new technology is becoming available - very large CPU core-count chips - I think we need new benchmarks to help drive innovation in game programming.

1264.  @remliqa  Good points. I'm glad to hear that the aerospace industry is not standing still and, in several areas, will be surpassing SpaceX soon. My hope is that this will focus SpaceX on defining and meeting milestones towards a well-defined goal instead of a hazy vision of a one-size fits all second stage. I would like to see the Elon side of SpaceX that is developing the Raptor engine sell it to at least the rational side of SpaceX that operates the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy so that the rational side of SpaceX could develop enhanced versions of those vehicles. Even better would be if the Elon side of SpaceX would sell Raptors to other launch vehicle makers who could bring more creativity to its use instead of the one-and-only-one design that Elon seems fixated on. Also, since - as you point out - it will take significant time for SpaceX to develop new economically viable versions of the second stage (perhaps even versions with heat shield tiles that don't fall off during launch) I would like to see the Elon side of SpaceX partner with other firms to use the SpaceX booster (which will be done first) in conjunction with another non-SpaceX second stage. When I write "the Elon side of SpaceX", I'm talking about that side of SpaceX that "tested" the second stage landing maneuver just enough that it sort of worked and launched the first Starship before the OLM was ready that caused themselves needless delays and bad feelings. I am also referring to the side of SpaceX that announces a major size increase of the second stage right after a still-unsuccessful second launch of Starship and also announces a micky-mouse version of a "key milestone test for NASA" of the ability to transfer fuel between Starships in orbit. If a mickey-mouse test of the feasibility of refueling in orbit is really necessary at this point, that fact should give everyone interested in Starship a major pause. What if this test does not go well? What happens if in orbit refueling is too risky or too difficult to make work? I am all for iterative development and salute SpaceX with all my heart with respect to Falcon 9 development, but now that we are in the midst of Starship development, it seems like things have gone a bit too far out of control.

1280.  @EconLessons  The CCP imho is focused on total control, institutionalized theft, and fantasy narratives. By comparison, the FSB and Putin are very small-minded thieves with little or no imagination. 1. The CCP achieves total control by near real-time censorship of all electronic communications, the social point system, all propaganda news all the time, the home-province registration system, central economic planning, etc. Since there is no real legal system or independent judiciary under the CCP, normal people have little or no rights. The belt and road initiative is the CCP's attempt to export total control to the rest of the world through debt traps. 2. For thieving, the tofu dregs construction is the result of institutionalized theft where the prime contract takes a cut off the top and subcontracts to another firm that does the same until there is almost no money to actually pay for construction. The real estate Ponzi scheme is another form of institutionalized theft that involves the real estate firms, the provincial governments, and the banks. The building of poorly conceived, poorly designed, poorly build infrastructure is another form of theft - the Chinese people are saddled with debt that will never be repaid (such as that used to build the high speed rail) with the majority of the money going into the pockets of local and national officials. 3. The CCP focuses on creating fantasy narratives about how great and strong the CCP and strives endlessly to convince the Chinese people that there the CCP IS China and that without the CCP, there is no China. To support this narrative, the CCP builds huge infrastructure projects that will be the biggest in the world which in fact are nothing but huge wastes of money like the high speed rail, the interstate highway system, the unused bridges, the space program, the CCP global positioning system that does not work, the over-inflated military that really can't fight, the huge navy of small ships that can't leave China's shores, the huge skyscrapers that never get finished, etc.

1315. Two questions I’d like to see you make a video about: first, if Trump loses, how will Republicans who are currently supporting him totally redeem themselves? Secondly, if Trump loses, will the Republicans who have turned against Trump before it was fashionable ever be forgiven? My answer to the first question is that Republicans who are currently fiercely supporting Trump will simply lie. They will either deny that they ever supported Trump despite mountains of evidence to the contrary or they will claim that they were badmouthing Trump in private only because they were afraid that the Maga cult members would do them harm if they didn’t support Trump in public. I expect to see a large number of books (and avalanche even) come out from this type of Republican Detailing how much pressure they were under by the Maga cult and why they could not stand up for the truth and what is right why they had to continue to support Trump despite their misgivings. In short, these Republicans will shout from the rooftops that the devil made them do it! My answer to the second question is that Republicans who turned their back on Trump before it became fashionable to do so will never be forgiven! Those Republicans will always be considered traders and will never be allowed to hold significant positions in the Republican party or to work on Republican campaigns in the future. Likewise, since Republicans in this category probably are more conservative in their policy choices. They will also never be fully trusted by the Democrats. In short, these Republicans can never go home again.

1357. Suggestions for your video on the cyber cab! 1. The cyber cab does not have windows so that the passengers can look out and see where they’re going. 2. The cyber cab is not easy to get into or out of 3. The cyber cab only sits two people. What if you have three or four or even five people? Do you have to take two or three cabs? 4. The cyber cab does not have trunk space enough for most people who are going on a trip and want to go to the airport. 5. The cyber cab does not have an easy way to interact with the “driver“ and to tell the driver that you want to be dropped off 100 feet before the exact address or 100 feet after the exact address or that you want the cyber cab to turn into this particular driveway. Being dropped 100 feet from your destination by a cyber cab so that you have to carry your luggage the whole way is incredibly stupid. 6. The cyber cab does not have a driver who can assist you with your luggage. 7. The cyber cab will not have any privacy for the people using it. To prevent people from trashing the interior of the cab, they will be photographed at all times by video cameras, and of course, the microphones in the cyber cab will be listening to the occupants in case the occupants, want to modify the driving directions. In addition to the cyber cab, please do a video about the stupidity of the Tesla robots. They still can’t walk as well as the robots of Boston dynamics, and of course, there was no real demonstration of there capabilities of their hands. In fact, in all probability, the Tesla robots at this vaporware demonstration were probably being driven by people behind the scenes. In fact, the cyber cabs were probably also being driven by people behind the scenes and we’re not at all autonomous.

1688.  @DarthAwar  Great comment! Thank you. You certainly know your platforms. I did not know that ARM had a restriction about being used in weapons, but you are right (even mentioning RISC-V!) that there are many more platforms available for military purposes. Taking a high level view (close to low earth orbit), I think that these radically more capable weapons that exploit the recent advances in processing power, graphics processing, and AI coupled with reduced power consumption are going to be extremely destabilizing at least for a while. I just hope that the US military does a much better job this time with respect to understanding and preparing for the newer, more capable weapons than it did prior to Pearl Harbor with respect to the new aviation capabilities that were emerging at that time. I'm sure they will react (no one in the US military wants to be "Pearl Harbored" again!) but I'm not sure if it will be too little or too much. Considering how complex the new realities being created by these new weapons are going to be, I'm sure that there will be a number of missteps before the answers about how to restructure US forces and weapons appropriately become clear. A similar thing happened back in the late 1800s and early 1900s when turbine marine engines and the all big gun battleship (HMS Dreadnought) emerged. Naval power arrangements were radically destabilized at that time which led to the naval arms race between Britain and Germany which was a big factor in causing WW1.

1802. Civilian drone competitions! We need to make certain that there is a healthy demand and appreciation of drones in our civilian population. That way soldiers who come into the military will already have the requisite skills. The military and conjunction with the FAA should be sponsoring drone competitions in which people come with drones and have to fly them through some type of course. Let the civilians have a hand into innovating and figuring out the best way to operate drones. Right now, the FAA seems to want to prohibit drones from our airspace is completely and maybe this is appropriate for Areas of cities and suburbs, but people need someplace where they can fly drones and some reason that they can have fun flying drones. Prone competitions could be the answer! One thing I would recommend for these drone competitions is to allow drones to be armed with Nerf projectiles and make hitting targets with the nerve projectiles part of the competition. Another suggestion would be to define places and competitions where people can shoot down drones. Apparently this is completely illegal right now, but under controlled conditions why should it not be legal and form the basis of a competition? If people begin competing on ways to shoot down drones, The odds are pretty good that civilians will innovate ways to do it better that the military can learn from. Yet another activity could be using drones to find people in the woods. This would actually allow for drone operators to get skilled in finding people, and also would allow for people trying to find innovative ways to avoid being found.

1901. Elon is killing Tesla and SpaceX with his crazy stupid ideas. A Tesla he developed a cyber truck that does not sell instead of developing a low cost EV that would’ve sold like hot cakes. Elon keeps lying about how full self driving is gonna work just another few days And desperately trying to cover up the accidents caused by full self driving. In the case of full self driving, Elon has doomed it by saying that only video cameras are needed not any other type of sensors. If Tesla was really serious about full self driving, Tesla would open it up to a independent test and would be soliciting openly all the input he could get from drivers as well as adding other types of sensors. With respect to cyber taxi, a two person taxi is a non-starter and a stupid idea. With respect to SpaceX, Elon is supposedly developing a spaceship to take us to Mars! However, there are no prototypes for the key systems needed for people to survive on Mars, and they probably never will be. Developing a vehicle for a totally unrealistic ignition that is never going to happen is a really really stupid idea. If you learn wants the starship to be a success, he’ll shut up about bars and start talking about low earth orbit, and maybe going to the moon Because NASA will pay for people to go to the moon and other companies will pay for low cost flights to lower earth orbit. The biggest obstacle for Tesla and for SpaceX is Elon Musk. I don’t care how many Nazi salutes he makes bad idea. Ideas are bad ideas.

1944. Trump wants to turn everything to shit and Trump is winning right now. Think about all of the good things that Trump is currently destroying along with the help of idiots like musk: 1. The Christian religion, a rapist adulterer like Trump is supposedly the chosen one of God. 2. Science, an idiot like RFK Junior and Dr. Oz hit up the scientist who are researching our health issues. 3. American world trade, Trump is imposing, stupid tariffs that will hurt everyone in order to destroy America’s trading position in the world 4. America’s diplomatic position, Trump is aligning the United States with Russia and forcing a Democratic country like Ukraine to submit to Russia. 5. Regulations that keep us safe, Trump is appointing idiots we don’t know the first thing about regulating areas like air, travel, or transportation 6. Legal system, Trump has appointed a Supreme Court that made him a king and and and Attorney General, who is openly Karana 7. Law-enforcement, Trump has appointed Patel who is actively going after Trump’s enemies instead of trying to protect America. 8. Protection of the environment, Trump is signing executive orders, and legislation to allow massive destruction of national parks and more pollution. 9. Infrastructure, Trump is stopping infrastructure projects so that the United States will have more and more bridges falling apart more and more roads falling apart. 10. Stock, market markets, Elon Musk and Trump are manipulating stock openly, markets are no longer fair

1999.  @wakannnai1  You underestimate the greatness of Xi Jinping and the CCP! Remember that $6 billion that disappeared from the accounts in that provincial bank? Well, that money is now well and truly gone because the CCP deleted any mention of it from the Chinese internet AND SOCIAL MEDIA and used thugs in black slacks and white shirts to terrorize the account holders into no longer asking for their money back. If no one is asking for their money back, is any money really missing? When it is comes to the real estate crisis, the CCP will use the same approach. They will punish (fine, arrest, torture, imprison, kill, organ harvest, etc.) at least one mortgage boycotter from each real estate project affected by boycotts. Though this won't be mentioned anywhere on the Chinese internet (or at least it won't be mentioned after the censors have done their work), word-of-mouth will get around that the mortgages MUST be paid if the mortgage holders (or their surviving families) won't to escape punishment. Far from being criticized by the Chinese "people" (CCP livestock) at large, it will be welcomed because it will help stabilize the finances of the real estate companies, perhaps lead to the completion of more projects (though that is not guaranteed), and will restore confidence that the CCP will not let property prices go down. Though this course of action probably will adversely affect the long-term growth of China, restored confidence will cause the Chinese people to once again joyfully resume en masse throwing their life savings into the real estate money pit (Ponzi scheme) once again and prices will resume rising - and even surging like the good old days. Rising real estate prices will, of course, also help to stabilize and restore provincial finances. Yes, this policy is just "kicking the can down the road", but it should work long enough to benefit the older leaders now in the CCP (until they are buried with full honors - Xi Jinping among them) and should give the younger well-connected smart CCP members time enough to steal as much money as possible (many, many billions of US$) and flee the country with their family and their fortunes (fortunes at least, new families can be purchased if needed).

2102. Summary: CCP, as expected, refuses to publish numbers of children sickened or killed by a new virus just as they have and continue to publish accurate numbers of the Chinese people sickened or killed by COVID. Refusing to publish such numbers does, of course, make it easy for the CCP to claim that they are being more effective than any other nation in confronting this new disease and to declare "victory" over it whenever they wish. CCP announces massive bailout to fund the completion of millions of housing units that the Chinese people are already paying off mortgages on, sometimes for years. This is good news for the parties in CCP China that REALLY matter. Corrupt CCP officials will have another change to enrich themselves by embezzling huge amounts of these funds. Chinese provinces will be able to strongly encourage (force) real estate developers to purchase more property as the unfinished apartments are completed in order to start the real estate Ponzi scheme all over. Construction firms and suppliers of steel and concrete will be able to make huge profits by charging premium prices for services, steel, and concrete that are actually substandard versions of these, and pocketing the cost difference. Normal non-CCP Chinese people (those treated like cockroaches by the CCP) will, of course, suffer. People who are waiting on unfinished apartments will receive tofu dreg apartments that will fall apart almost immediately and will be practically impossible to resell. People who own already furnished apartments and who are still paying off mortgages will see more of their equity disappear as owners of the newly finished properties try to hide any problems and sell them off. All of the Chinese people will be placed under an even greater debt burden that is used to fund the bailouts.

2233. Tony, you really crossed the line today with your report about "CCP fears" that "other countries" are developing ethnic bio weapons. In reality, what you did was to help spread a CCP terrorism threat to the world that the CCP is developing or have developed (they think) such weapons. First, if the CCP was really worried about this, they would raise the issue publicly with major entities such as the US, the UN, the World Health Organization, the European Common Union, etc. instead of via a single report through one of their obscure spy agencies. Second, it is blatantly obvious that developing a narrowly targeted weapons such as these are impossible because a) the vast majority of humans in every country in the world is actually a genetic mixture of many different ethnic groups and b) there have been ethnic group-crossing diseases for the past thousand years (when ethnic groups were MUCH more segregated than today) such as the bubonic plague, smallpox, the Spanish flu (in fact, all varieties of flu), and COVID. If people of different ethnicities differed so sharply to make ethnic bio weapons feasible then we should have seen "one country only or one ethnic group only" killer diseases in the past but we haven't. In the future I am going to refer to you as "Tony (Lord Ha Ha)" in hopes that some day a Western government will hold you responsible for helping the CCP spread terrorism threats in addition to the usual propaganda you faithfully repeat in the same way that "Lord Haw Haw" was held responsible for broadcasting Nazi propaganda after WW2.

2630.  @jerryrichardson2799  The "cheap" shot at Tony is both a criticism and a warning. In my opinion, Tony's videos could better be done outside of China where he could provide more thorough analysis without fear of CCP reprisals. All of the sources that he quotes are publicly available and he does not, of course, quote any Chinese CCP or business insiders to avoid inevitable and severe CCP crackdowns. Though Tony is, of course, not a Lord Haw Haw (an Englishman who broadcast Nazi propaganda throughout WWII and who was arrested, tried, and hung by the British after the war ended), I am afraid that he will likely face very pointed questions and possibly penalties by both sides in the event of a dramatic increase in tensions such as a CCP attack on Taiwan or more devastating news coming out about high-level New Zealand or Australian politicians or business leaders receiving CCP bribes. On the CCP side, Tony could be arrested al any moment and held in prison for years as a bargaining chip as was done to an Australian journalist who was only recently released by the CCP after 3 years in prison. On the Western side, Tony may face charges that he helped the CCP to identify and make contact with the politicians or business leaders who are found guilty of receiving CCP bribes. Tony is a nice guy that I don't want to see any harm come to. But Tony has put himself in a very precarious position that could blow up in his face at any time for, as far as I can see, very little personal or professional benefit.
