Not sure, with Nicola Sturgeon you could self-ID as a trans...national person and simply stay. Jokes aside, if your grandfather was born in the UK, you have to check "British citizenship by descent" rules, they are quite complicated if you and your parents were born out of the UK.

@svensulzmann4282 it's a trend. The UK removed the GBP 2 million investor visa for a reason: no more Russians. Of course I might be wrong, but that's the international "mood" at the moment.

@camelotenglishtuition6394 not so simple. Grandpa born in Scotland passes on citizenship to mommy - fine. But mommy born outside the UK cannot pass citizenship to anybody unless she lives in the UK with kids for a number of years. That's roughly a description of the current rules, it's important to check them out.
