  1. She knows there is no way UNRWA can stop Hamas from doing whatever it wants, and especially confiscating the fuel, so she didn't even try to deny it. But she couldn't say "Hamas is in control and they'll do whatever they want" because that won't help her cause. When an official spokesperson repeats their non-answer they are basically conceding the argument.

  5. I trust no reporting from Hamas officials. I have no doubt there has been terrible loss of life and the killing needs to end, but the actual numbers are anyone's guess. If Hamas actually cared about helping the Palestinians instead of killing Jews maybe things could start to improve in Gaza, but they don't.

  6. Muslim unity? Talk about an oxymoron. The fighting between Shia and Sunni, the way Arab's mistreat other Muslims in neighboring Arab nations or even in their own countries, the way Pakistan is forcing out the undocumented Afghani refugees, the way the Taliban fights ISIS and the way they both oppress the Muslim population, all signs of such tremendous unity.
