  1. If all sport was just for fun this would be easier, but this isn't just about something people are doing for their health and a personal challenge. There are entire careers at stake here and as we don't have definitive science one way or the other yet we should err on the side of the science we do have. From what I understand, there are many biologic differences between a man and a woman that require dividing many physical sports into categories for each biologic gender. As we have a wide variety of separate divisions in most sports already, and not just between men and women but also based on age, weight, or skill level, the obvious option is to create another division for trans-athletes. It probably won't be financially profitable the same way most minor league sports don't share the same major league salaries, but it will still allow people to play the game they love to play.
