@FK-xq1ow The most oppressed people in the US are first generation migrants and especially ones who are undocumented. The second most oppressed group are Indigenous people. Black people are the third most oppressed group in the US. And all of this ignores that oppression is more about class than race. The poor almost always have more in common with each other, regardless of their ethnicity, than with the wealthy elite of a country. Racial division is one of many tools the ruling class use to keep us punching down and across at one another instead of up at the people who are making problems for the rest of us.

@FK-xq1ow What I see is someone who made a claim that Black people are the most oppressed people in the United States and is having a hard time understanding that isn't true. It sounds like you don't know the history of Indigenous people in the Americas (not just the US but North, Central, and South) after 1492 and what their lives are like today? It's fine that you don't but you should know that the original sin of the US (as identified by scholars like Dr Cornel West) is what was done to the people already living here. I am not arguing that Black people were not and are not still oppressed in the US but with your qualification that they they are the most oppressed ethnic group in the US. Oppression is rampant among many groups in the US and takes many different forms but if you are going to try to push your own narrative and and single out one group of people as having it "the worst" then identify the correct group of people. Indigenous people have been and are still are so oppressed and marginalized that they can't even get a Black Lives Matter or Me Too movement.

I'm not sure why you are having such a hard time accepting that truth other than you really don't know about the history of the colonization of the western hemisphere. You really don't see how much more effective your original argument about the US being an oppressive country would have been if you had identified native people and the various forms of genocide waged against them for over five hundred years, do you? Instead of being aggressively mulish about needing to be right when you are wrong about which group has had it worse in the US you could have used my clarification as an additional argument to support your original proposition. Just accept the fact that someone from the US knows more about our history than you obviously do. I don't know where you live but I bet you know more about the history and current events there than I do. Is it so hard for you to accept that the same could be said for me in regards to the history and current events of my country? Bro, make like Elsa - take the loss and let it go.
