  1. Her dad is probably the reason why she is the way she is. I don't get how she was able to transfer the business to family and still be profiting from it. I'm also honestly suprised sometimes that with as much gun violence as we have in the U.S. that more people who have been mistreated by people like miss Costa don't take revenge into their own hands.

  2. That would be an even more terrifying thought if I was disabled, but if any of us live long enough we won't be able to care for ourselves at some point. Being an only child who didn't have kids, I don't have any other family to help care for me later on so my plan is to end it before that happens. I only have my mom left. After she's gone there won't be anyone who will be really affected by my suicide and then I'll be free to (hopefully) pick my own time of departure. It is possible that in another fifteen or twenty years robots will become our caretakers. I'm not sure how I feel about that but it could be a part of the solution - especially if the robot is integrated into some kind of exo-skeleton we can wear that would help restore our mobility and coordination to live independently while also staying connected to a system that will send help if something should happen. Of course, our frelling insurance probably won't cover it.
