It's not going to be any fun for a large portion of the biome including us, but climate change is a self-correcting problem. Some of us will figure out how to make it through.

@AbsentWithoutLeaving I like the way you write! To be fair, I absolutely agree that we can destroy the world in any number of ways. I've lived for 54 years in the US with the ever present knowledge that total nuclear annihilation could happen at any moment. And there were so many movies, television shows, books and music all warning about one kind or another of dystopian and devastated future or the end of the human race. It's certainly possible that just like so many other species will experience during the Anthropocene extinction, enough of us would die off so that we pass beyond the terminal level for humans to continue. Although there are also some very clever apes in the world so I can't bring myself to count us out. Just hope we don't end up like the Morlocks.
