Everyone's a loser in this story. What a mess.

"No arrests have been made" Hopefully that's a "yet" situation. Tough guy needs to be removed from our shared space as he obviously can't control himself. He definitely needs some time in a locked ward at a mental health facility because if he hasn't already, he's going to really hurt someone or get himself hurt and ruin someone else's life that way. Either way, I'm sure he's a good boy whose mama loves him. Oh yeah, their dog doesn't bite either.

"it's a slack line" sounds a lot like "swamp gs reflecting off Venus".

@alessandrac1940 The father didn't do the right thing. He doesn't get to impose his need to apologize for his daughter and try to explain things until and if the victim wants that to happen. He should not just show up at her home (he never even should have gotten her address) and especially not the very next day after when she's certainly still emotionally raw from what happened the night before. I'm not questioning his reason for being there because we don't know why he was there. I hope and want to believe it was to appologize, but for a chaplin he doesn't have the good sense God was supposed to have given him to just come over like that. And as a law enforcement professional he should know better than to approach a victim directly when his family is involved.

She might have a seizure ... one induced by alcohol consumption. But she was still driving while drunk which is all that matters.

I need the algorithm to send me more of these stories. There is an awful lot of good going on in the world. It's important to get reminded of that.

Inmate proceeds to end The guy.

We could all take a lesson from those two.

@ILLTHIRST That's my definition too. But I'm waiting for someone to argue that racism is about power and since white people have all the power and access, no one of any other minority group can ever be racist towards a white person. I think their distinction is that a minority person can be bigoted but not be a racist. I don't know how we're ever going to have any hope of resolving these problems as long as we can't even agree on basic definitions of the problems.

Some of the people who work in law enforcement really shouldn't be working in law enforcement.

When cops screw up they really screw up.

If she isn't a thug she's trying real hard to become one. Not suprised to hear she's on medication. I'll bet the boy is too. Wonder what happened to break these kids so badly.
2
I would lose my mind and certainly say something and possibly do something stupid that would most likely get me arrested. Get the duct tape!

When someone acts like a dangerous animal they need to be treated like a dangerous animal.

Florida is crazy and entertaining.

And I like how everyone is judging the retired cop as over reacting without knowing anything about why she retired. Besides from it being an insane thing to have happen to anyone, she could have her own PTSD or mental health problems from working as a police officer that were aggravated by the altered woman trying to break in.

when you join the mob you stop being a legitimate documentarian. Youngin' needs to learn this the hard way? Well, okay - here's your sign. Get ready to at the least have to pay all kinds of court costs, legal fees, and civil and/or criminal fines even if he doesn't spend any time in prison. I see another court in his future - a bankruptcy court. But you know his mama is so proud of him and he's such a good boy. Wonder if kept his YouTube channel up or tried to get rid of the damning videos y'all know he has (had) posted.

should of cuffed the guy to the wheelchair

Freaking King Soopers. No wonder people keep stealing stuff when there aren't any consequences.
1
Broken POS like that needs to go away forever. Guy's lost his human being privileges because he's proven himself to be a dangerous animal. Bye bye predator.

What a dufus.

No one is going to tell a temporary figurehead whats really going on if it's important enough.

So what happened to the woman? Inside Edition stories letting me down again.

He's getting off light and should have done the full ride, but he's white and semi-successful so he gets a break other don't. The Gropey Golfer needed more time away from the rest of us to reflect.

Shame on every single child from her class and their terrible parents. You don't RSVP and then not even bother to cancel.

Such a scumbag even his own mother won't defend him. I'm wondering where he learned to have that kind of arrogance and complete lack of decency.
1
He discharged his weapon? Way to be the problem, officer itchy trigger figer.

She's such a waste of a life.

Ironic, moronic, pathetic, antagonistic and probably a few other things that end with an -ic.
1
I'm all conflicted about this story.

charge the parents too.
1
"resisting an officer without violence" - the only violence here is from the guy with the badge. This bully is going to cost his community so much in legal fees and settlements. It's just who he is.
1
Johnny boy is going to get his beat or worse. Preferably for the later.

The friendship with Bush makes more sense.
