I'm called paranoid, fool, idiot, leftist trash, conservative boomer, and other dismissive names none of which were completely correct or often even remotely close - maybe a bit here and there but always more wrong than right.   5. ​ @P1nstr1p3  - well said, sir. I keep hoping that we don't plunge over the cliff, but it's happened before and will certainly happen again - just a question of when and how. Seoul is actually a pretty good choice. I don't think North Korea or China would want to see it damaged too badly so it's probably a fairly safe place to relocate. Unless the entire NoKo army is sent to sweep into the South and overwhelm everything; then being an American might not be too great. I didn't know about the free WiFi but that's a sweet bonus. It used to be a pretty good country to teach English as a Second Language in so if you have at least a Bachelors degree that might be an avenue to help make some expat money even in an informal group setting or as a tutor. Tasty food too!
